Our History
Over a Century of West Tennessee Roots
The Butts family first put down roots in Jackson, TN more than a hundred years ago — and they never left.
From that founding generation forward, the family built a record of entrepreneurship that stretches across generations: small businesses, manufacturing, distribution, real estate. Each era added to the legacy rather than replacing it. They sat on city councils, led civic organizations, and invested in the community not as outsiders writing checks, but as neighbors with skin in the game.
Prosper is the latest expression of that tradition.
